Renuds

Prepare your income tax return in India.

An ITR is easier to review when you can see where the figures came from. Renuds turns supported tax documents into a source-linked computation, highlights differences and asks for facts the records cannot settle.

Start with your documents

Bring your salary or pension certificate, tax records and any investment statements you have. You can inspect the result before deciding how to complete your filing.

Preparation, review and filing are separate steps

  1. Prepare: read supported records, confirm missing facts and calculate the return. The PDF and Excel explain the result; a draft is not a filed return.
  2. Review: inspect source references, tax credits and AIS differences. Check the review status for this calculation revision. A pending CA review is not a completed review.
  3. File: use the applicable government filing format when available and validated. Submit and verify on the Income Tax Department portal yourself. Renuds does not submit or e-verify for you.

The applicable filing file depends on the selected year and published official schema. Availability is shown in the product; a computation download does not guarantee portal-file availability.

Salary, investments or a more complex return?

A salary certificate is a starting point, not a complete record of every income source. Include bank interest, dividends, capital gains, property and any business or foreign-income records that apply. Tell Renuds about overlapping income sources rather than selecting only the simplest part.

Foreign equity may need vest or exercise records as well as sale records. Residency, foreign disclosures and tax-credit facts must come from your records or explicit answers. Missing required facts remain visible instead of being guessed.

Understand the workflow and its limits

Already filed an ITR?

The existing-return comparison accepts a supported filed ITR-2 JSON alongside source documents. A difference is something to investigate; it does not by itself mean that an amendment is needed.

Before sharing financial records

You do not need to give Renuds your income-tax portal password. Read the processing and retention terms before uploading, and use the deletion control in your return when you want to remove it.

Official filing guidance

The department’s offline utility manual explains JSON import, return validation, submission and verification. Its screenshots may describe an earlier assessment year; always choose the utility and instructions for your actual filing year.
